Junk blocks

I love to spell things with old blocks, tiles, game pieces, etc. Here are my vintage toy blocks turned magnets!

Junk-Bird! Bird house!

Our cute little junk-birds live here! Made from scraps of barn wood, an old rusty piece of hardware (we added a little white paint to make it stand out) and a rusty old license plate for a roof! I would bet that if one were to look inside..these birds are hoarders! te he!

Our new addition! We acquired some Barber Shop chairs and other accessories from the Old Montana Barbershop in Great Falls, MT. So we built our own little barbershop in a booth at The Antique Barn! Not finished yet, but it's a start!

Outhouse door/Kitchen Table!

My hubby made this table from a door that was originally for an outhouse, he sanded it down, waxed it and made this gorgeous primitive table.

Old Barn Wood

We spent Mother's Day tearing down an old Horse Barn at my Uncle's place in Ryegate, MT. The kids had a great time on the farm, and playing in the Cousin's Club Treehouse. Then went to Grandma DeBuff's for a wonderful meal prepared by all the aunts. Here are some pictures of the small Barn, and then the wood, etc. on the trailer. It was a good, productive day!

This old Bucket Bench came in on a load from Minnesota. What a unique piece and such a cute color! It's on the workbench, and will be a GEM when it is done...I will post after pictures soon!

LOVE!!!! LOVE!!!! LOVE!!!! THESE CUTE JUNK WALL HANGERS MOM MADE YESTERDAY! SHE PAINTED LITTLE MATCHING FRAMES BLACK, THE BACKGROUND IS BURLAP, AND SHE ATTACHED SOME OF OUR FAVORITE RUSTY JUNK TREASURES! IN FACT I HAD TO CHASE HER AWAY FROM MY SECRET STASH OF RUSTY HARDWARE AND JUNK! WE DID FIND MANY NEW ONES IN A LOAD OF STUFF PURCHASED FROM A LOCAL DAIRY FARM.

LOOK FOR THESE AT JUNK-FEST JUNE 19!!!
